Which Christmas Movie Is The Best of All Time?

Many people's favorite time of the year is coming! What is your favorite thing about the holidays? One of mine is definitely putting on cozy pajamas and watching movies. Let's look at some of great Christmas movies of all time!

1. The Polar Express (2004)

I was fascinated by how stunning this movie was. On Christmas Eve, this boy becomes skeptical of the existence of Santa Claus and ends up going on an adventure. The film stars Tom Hanks in several different roles.

2. Elf (2003)

Elf became a very popular Christmas character after this movie. Will Ferrell plays Buddy the Elf, which is often considered to be one of his best performances!

3. Love Actually (2003)

My persona favorite! It came out in the same year as Elf. The movie is written and directed by the famous rom-com filmmaker Richard Curtis. The movie has ten separate stories that each show different aspects of love.

4. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

I cannot believe this movie has been more than 25 years! If you'd like to be a little spooky rather than all lively. This is for you this Christmas.

5. Holiday Inn (1942)

A classic. This musical film stars Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire and features music by Irving Berlin. That is the complete package! It has a song for each holiday of the year, but it begins and ends with Christmas.

6. The Holiday (2006)

This movie makes you wanna just pack your bags and leave. Two lovelorn women from opposite sides on the planet decide to do a home exchange to escape heartbreak during the holiday season.

7. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

If we were going to talk about Christmas movies, it wouldn't be possible to do it without Grinch! This Grinch played by Jim Carrey scared a lot of kids in 2000.

8. Serendipity (2001)

Would you like some magical love? Jonathan meets Sara whom he falls in love with at first sight, but Sara believes in destiny. What happens after 10 years?

9. Home Alone & Home Alone 2 (1990, 1992)

Saving the best for last! The first Home Alone was the highest-grossing live-action comedy film of all time in the United States until 2011. Watching Kevin knocking those thieves down never gets old.

Did I list one of your favorites? Which Christmas movie do you love the most?
