1. Eat Pray Love (2010)

She thought she got everything she wanted in her life, but life is full of the unexpected. She leaves to find what is really important in her life. This movie is filled with new places, new food, and new people. And this is based on the true story!

2. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013)

Ben Stiller directed, co-produced, and starred in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". The main character Walter Mitty has a monotonous life before leaving for a global journey. The global journey turns intro an unexpected adventure that changes his life. The movie has beautiful footage of the Himalayas.

3. Midnight in Paris (2011)

Falling in love with a stranger while time-traveling in Paris... Can't it be more romantic than this? The movie shows the most beautiful part of the city Paris. It will make you want to travel and to fall in love.

4. Call Me By Your Name (2017)

Another romantic movie that takes place in Europe. Northern Italy in the summer of 1983 feels refreshing and sentimental in the movie. It is also a coming-of-age story as well as a love story for a 17-year-old boy. The movie won an Academy award for Adapted Screenplay in 2018.

5. Into the Wild (2003)

This movie is based on the same name book that tells the true story of Christopher McCandless, a suburban college graduate who hiked across North America into the Alaskan wilderness in the early 1990s. The film portrays beautiful panoramic views and is very thought-provoking.

6. Thelma and Louise (1991)

Independent waitress Louise and housewife Thelma embark on a road trip that turns into unexpected circumstances. The movie had some controversy at the time of its release, it did successfully in box office and became a classic.

7. The Darjeeling Limited (2007)

The movie starts with a businessman missing the train called "The Darjeeling Limited". It has Wes Anderson's signature humor and exotic mood. It shows beautiful parts of India in a warm way.
